World Mental Health Day 2026 – Wear It Loud, Wear It Proud! π #HelloYellow
On Friday 9th October 2026, we came together as a school community to mark World Mental Health Day. Mental health challenges can affect anyone at any time, and during difficult periods it is important that no young person feels alone. By raising awareness, encouraging open conversations, and supporting one another, we can all play a part in making a difference.
Students and staff showed incredible support by wearing yellow and taking part in a range of fundraising activities. From cake sales, boxing and yoga to visits from therapy dogs and a mobile zoo, the enthusiasm and generosity shown throughout the day was truly inspiring.
Thanks to the fantastic efforts of our school community, we raised an impressive £700 for YoungMinds, a charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people. The funds raised will go towards vital mental health resources, campaigns for improved local support services, and will help to maintain their essential helpline.
As always, our students went above and beyond, demonstrating kindness, compassion and a genuine commitment to supporting others. We could not be prouder of their efforts.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this year's #HelloYellow event such a memorable and impactful day.” – The Inclusion Teamπ
