Consultation on a proposed reduction in the published admission number for Holy Family Catholic High School (Virgins Lane, Thornton, L23 4UL) with effect from September 2025

The consultation on changes to school admission policies for September 2025 will commence on 4th December 2023 and will be open until 28th January 2024.

How to Apply for a place at Holy Family High School

If you are applying for a place for your child in addition to completing the Sefton online application form, you must provide evidence of faith, please complete a Supplementary Faith Form (below) and provide proof of address. Please send to Holy Family, either by post or email admissions@holyfamilyhighschool.co.uk.

  • Supplementary Faith Form - Evidence of faith can either be a baptism certificate, a First Holy Communion/Confirmation certificate or a Minister of Religion to complete Section B.
  • Proof of Address - Please provide up-to-date proof of your address (E.g. Council tax bill, Universal Credit document, bank statement or a utility bill from within the last 3 months)
